|2011 Hawaiian Wetlands and Waterbird Workshop, Koolau Golf Club,
Kaneohe, October 4-6, 2011|
The Hawaii Chapter of the Wildlife Society, Pacific Coast Joint Venture, Hawaii Wetland Joint Venture, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service are proud to sponsor the 2011 Hawaiian Wetlands and Waterbird Workshop. This workshop will emphasize on-the-ground solutions to challenges of wetland management and recovery of endangered waterbirds by bringing together managers, researchers, and conservationists working in these fields. Since the last Hawaii wetland workshop in 2005, exciting new research and management tools have been developed. This year’s conference will include workshops to offer training in recently developed management tools, discussion sessions to brainstorm and advance wetland-related issues, and presentation sessions. Download the flyer for a list of keynote speakers and workshop topics. For more information, please contact Adonia Henry, conference coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (808) 927-9582.
